Biography

Coaching Approach:

David supports individuals and leaders succeed during complex and challenging career, role and life transitions involving significant changes to how they see themselves, and how they want to think and behave.  David uses evidence-based intentional change theory and identity-based adult developmental approaches to support leader’s growth.  His approach is built on successful navigation of his own career, role and life transitions and then supporting leaders and teams through their own transitions.

Background:

David has worked both locally and internationally in Risk, Health and Safety, Legal, projects and organisational development.  He has drawn upon his experience in senior leadership roles in Professional services to provide a grounded approach in providing one on one coaching services, encompassing a holistic coaching/mentoring/advisory approach, relating to transitions and leadership development.  His experience also focuses on working with emerging and developing leaders who are preparing for or are transitioning into new roles. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney Business School exploring how leaders experience being in difficult situations whilst perceiving a lack of solutions or escape routes.
